Studies have consistently shown that workplace stress has a negative impact on employee health and productivity.  And while increasing resiliency and decreasing stress are critical first steps in making the workplace a happier, healthier and more productive place, improving communication, collaboration and conflict resolution, especially in fast-evolving environments, are just as critical to the success of an organization.

Pfizer, Inc., one of the world’s premier biopharmaceutical companies, partnered with Heart Based Institute in introducing Heart Based Meditation as a tool for its employees to reduce stress. As shown below, the measured before/after impact among participants was immediate and significant.

The Beneifts of Learning Heart Based Therapeutics® Skills

Our programs also meet the needs of peer support specialists and therapist practitioners in extending the benefits of Heart Based Therapeutics® skills to the people they serve.  In these programs, participants were taught specific modalities for building therapeutic alliance with clients, maintaining healthy boundaries, and effectively guiding them to relax, become more grounded and diffuse negative emotional patterns.

Vaya Health, a managed care organization providing North Carolina Medicaid funds to mental health agencies, conducted a Kirkpatrick Model of evaluation of human service providers working at these agencies that were trained in Heart Based Meditation and completed our Support Specialist certification program.  Of those participants that incorporated Heart Based Therapeutics skills with clients, 83% reported at least some level of positive impact of client outcomes.
